Besides it's common internet knowledge where MtnMuley's hot spots are anyhow.  :chuckle:

Jason what gym?? Thorbecks? Just curious how this guy found out so much. Just by a land mark? Had he been to the area before? Kinda *censored*ty of him to do that.

Not something I really thought about much until the last couple of years.  I now crop my pics (including my avatar) to cut out identifiable landmarks.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I would think he had beeni n there before or he could have zeroed it in via various photos on the web via hikers and other photo sites  :dunno: hell for all we know he's not even close! Just a BSer! I've met one or two of them before  ;)

Travis,
Yeah.  I don't know if he had been there before or not.  I'm assuming not since he was going scouting.  I've never really talked to the guy before about hunting (I guess that's what I get for wearing my Primetime shirt to the gym).

A little Google earth time and a distinguishable landmark can give a spot away.

Probably full of chit. I wish I could kill a buck in the same spot every yr. I was just curious if I may know this clown. We should photo shop some pics with monster bucks and defiant land marks in the back ground and send him on some adventures ;)

Great Pic's! Looks like a great time! A Gal at work drew an Enchantments hike permit for the second year in a row. Hope to get a report on any deer/goat activity up there!
Having done a one day thru hike up there, the deer population is not so good, but there are lots of goats running around. I take it you are talking photo taking. As hunting would not be an option up there.

Last year she saw a TON of goats on a 5 day hike. She saw the majority of goats after completeing Aasgard Pass. Even saw a couple on Little Annapurna. You probably did not have time to get up to L.A. on such a quick hike. Maybe someday a goat hunting permit will be available in the Enchantments, but for now I will do my shooting with a camera when I get my hiking permit.

Great bull mikelonsford!
:yeah:

LOVE that first photo! Gotta love it when you see tines hitting the dirt!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Wish I could have gotten a pic of this guy as he approached me.   My nerves may never be the same.

Yea! I've been waiting for some b.a. photos! bada** and boneaddict are certainly synonymous with great pursuits like that!

THANKS!   It almost doesn't qualify for this thread, but it was about as far from the road as you can get in this country.   It was also between 9000, and 10,000 feet, and even for me, the air was a bit thin.
