WELL I just found this video of one of my archery Blacktail ...my son was filming with a canon camera set on video ...its o.k for hiking down threw the thickest clear cut known to man

Nice buck, but you should cut the first 4 minutes out. Why did you want to get the animal thrashing around on camera? Unnecessary to wait around so you could get the finishing kill on camera. If the animal is suffering then don't wait to figure out how to zoom your camera. Just end it's suffering. Otherwise, it's just another video for the "anti's" to use .

I agree end the suffering and then enjoy that moment. Watch out for those broad heads leaving em like tht.

Nice buck! I don't even think it needed the second shot, the first one looked to be right through the lungs. I don't see a problem with standing back and letting it die peacefully.

First off it was with a camera ...not a video camera....suffering ? I just want to be sure he was not going down the mountain any further and 3rd I was not 100% sure where it hit him ...he was standing in 2' of blueberries ...I waited a 1/2 hour and slowly tracked him down threw all that brush and when I got to him his head was up and he knew we were there ...the neck shot ended it quick ... so I am not sure what your saying about suffering ..plus no one saw him thrashing around ?

plus it was an 8yr old kid trying to run a camera

I was referring to the fumbling of the cam before the kill shot trying to zoom and all that's it no biggie. Sweet buck again. Way to get the kids into the woods!

I agree. I wold of done the same thing. Sucks when you put something up to share and the first thing people do is criticize because they are sitting behind a screen. It would be nice to hear more congratulations to this guy!

It amazes me how some people on here are so afraid of what the antis might think or do. They can get alot more amunition from the outdoor channel.

That video was awesome. It was real. I can't believe how well your kid did with the camera.

its all about sharing the thrill of the hunt...nothen better than being with your kids and friends ..that's why we all hunt ....we all look forward to hanging out with friends and family ....I would rather watch a show on how it really went down plus being out in the big woods where there are no staged scenes is what hunting is all about ...and nothen cooler than pulling out your own videos to watch ...I give those guys alto of credit running a camera ...its far from easy and whatever footage I have it is footage I have taken to satisfy myself...everyone should try packing a camera with them .....and share the moments we have on our adventures....
