Oh, I thought everyone that had trail cameras had at least ten or twelve.   :chuckle:

A few theives around these parts have ten or twelve.  And many of us have bought ten or twelve.  Unfortunately we have donated way to many to the previous mentioned theives.

That first big billy is a dandy.  Most the truly big billies we find are quite dirty looking.  One big B&C billy up north where I hunt the locals call "Dirty Pisser".  I thought that was weird until I saw him myself.  Now I understand.

I have three Leupold camera's I might be willing to donate.  But, anything smaller than an elephant has to be within 18" (that's inches not feet) of the camera before it will take pictures.  All three are that way!  I sure got rammed from the back side on those.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I've been hoping to get a good goat cam up for years now and finally found a spot that was good for it.  Unfortunately, the spot is tough to access, especially in the winter as it is deep in the Mt. Baker Wilderness.  I was able to ski into the spot this last weekend and was really happy with some of the pictures I got.  In addition to the cougar pics I posted earlier, I did get some AWESOME goat pics!

Even though I've never personally seen a billy this low on the mountain, I got some really nice billies on the camera in November.

I even got some rutting action on camera!

The billies then hung out in that spot for another couple of weeks.  Living in that snow would not be easy!

Notice the classic rutting billy dirty rump.

And all clean post rut.

From mid-December to mid-March there were no goats in the spot.  Then the nannies show up in the spring as they get ready to give birth.

I did get some pics of the goats when we went in to check the camera.  I'll try to post those pictures after I do some editing.  Hope you enjoyed the goat cam pics.  Not every day you get good goat pics during the rut or on a trail cam period.

I love these goat photos.  does your camera take more than 3 photos per burst.   I'm looking for a camera that will take like 10 photos per burst.

Great pictures.  You don't see to many trail cam pics of mountain goats.
Cut em!
