Another safe question, thoughts needed.

I have a large safe at my house, however I would like to get a smaller pistol safe to keep at my girlfriends house. I was thinking a biometric one so she can also get into it quickly. I feel she would not be able to get a combo or key in quickly under pressure. With all the home invasions and break ins lately she is getting nervous, but obviously do not want her boy to have any kind of access. I have looked at numerous sites online and read a lot of reviews on both the gunvault, Barska etc... What do you have and what are your thoughts. Thanks

I would do something with a mechanical lock like a v-line or titan gun vault. The electronic pistol boxes are not reliable, especially the biometric ones. Those mechanical locks can be opened in less than 3 seconds, and they are super reliable. I deal with malfunctioning electronic pistol boxes all the time.
