Free Kids Fishing Days

Kids Fishing days

On April 21st at the gravel pit in Rock Island Washington
From 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.   Open to kids up to age 14 years.  Hot dogs and pop or water available. Rigging and bait assistance provided by, The Wenatchee Sportsmen’s Association.

On June 2nd at the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery in Leavenworth Washington.
From 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. Open to kids 4-14 years of age. Registration required, Go to the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery website, and follow the link to event registration. Bring your own poles or use one of ours. No lures allowed, bait only. Fish cleaning provided by members of Trout Unlimited. Poles, bait and fishing assistance provided by, The Wenatchee Sportmen’s Association.

On June 9th at the Entiat National Fish Hatchery in Entiat Washington.
From 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Children under 14 years of age are invited to bring your family to the hatchery for some fishing fun. We want you to have the best experience, so bring your own pole or we’ll loan you one. We’ll even provide the bait. Entiat Valley Community Services will provide a concession stand for lunch service.

The only one that you need to register for as far as I know is the one in Leavenworth. Go to the leavenworth national fish hatchery web site and there should be a link to sign up under events. Go to The Friends of NW Hatcheries website to register. http://www.friendsofnwhatcheries.org/  There is no registration required at the Rock Island fishing day or at the Entiat National Fish Hatchery event.
