First Turkey and on Opening Day
« on: April 15, 2012, 07:16:12 PM »
I got him in the first 1 1/2 hrs of the season. Nothing too exciting. I couldn't get any birds on public land to answer back so I went up the mountain and spotted a group with him in it up of the road. Walked right to him and shot him. He didn't even care I was there. Hopefully next weekend I can actually call one in. My uncle and I saw 8 elk last night and a cow moose and a bunch of deer today. It was a good time accept for the guys that were camped up in the meadow shooting the hillside up all day long on Saturday. There wasn't a bird around there for 3 miles. Some people :bash:
I hunt therefore I am.
