What's the most dangerous thing said in the US Navy? -- A Chief Petty Officer saying "Watch this s$%^!!"

"I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction: 'I served in the United States Navy.'"
President John F. Kennedy

If the tribes can start whackin' sealions I won't ever complain about tribal issues ever again.  The sealions need thinned out big-time and somebody needs to stand-up to morons like the HSUS. :twocents:

I bet the predation is very high in the lower river.  Anyone who has fished a lot have lost fish to seals.  I know we had lost a dozen springers alone just to seals and that was off of Batchelor Island a few seasons back.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

They whack em all the time and then when one washes up on the beach with a bullet hole to the head people freak out! then an article in the paper comes out implying it was an angry white sportfisherman that must of shot the cute poor defenceless sea-lion

Yeah the tribes need to start harvesting them and add sea lion steak to their buffet menu at the casino's

Tribes are going to be they key to managing predators of every kind. They don't care about bunny huggers, and tend to have more legal standing on these issues than most of us.  :twocents:

Shoot up the Sea Wolves!
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Won't hurt my feelings if the tribes kill a few.  I lost my biggest springer of the year Friday to a sea lion only a foot from the net.  Still a little pissed...

Thanks for sharing and if these freaking sea-lions weren't fed-protected they would've already had a water grave.  This same tune and legal battle has been going on since at least late 2002-03 and as long as the sea wolves are protected there is not a whole lot we as Tribes can do because we are not above Fed law.

There have been 10 already dealt with and soon, very soon there will be more meeting there maker and hopefully the umbrella of protection will be lifted and we as Tribes can deal with them lawfully and legally.

Plat, I will buy your ammo...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
