Finally got a chance to put the new .223 to work.

I've spotted this Chuck several times and he has always slipped of his perch and back into the rock pile every time he saw the truck. Today I had a little more patience than normal and waited him out for 45 min or so. He slinked back out on his perch. I lined him up at a chip shot distance of 177 yards and tipped him over. The BlackHills 52gr Match Hollow Point left a neat little dime size exit.

Nice what scope is on the .223??

A Leupold Mk4 straight 16X with 1/8 min, 2 MOA dot reticle. 1/8th min dots, spaced at two MOA.
