The 2nd picture looks like there is a little lung blood in it with the foam on the left side of that stump. Most looks like the darker blood you get from a liver shot.

did you guys check and make sure he did not double back on his own trail ?
I helped look for a while this afternoon and got soaked. Whatever blood was there has now washed away. Brush is so think you can't look down and see your own feet. As far as I know they're still searching but it doesn't look good to be honest.
