I only wish...
« on: May 28, 2012, 11:40:48 AM »
I only wish that these metals could be proudly adorned on his chest or hung from his neck. I thought it was fitting to go out this morning and hang them on his tombstone.

His life had a rough beginning when his Dad was killed in an auto accident when he was 3. I raised him from 4 years old until about 12. I'm proud of the man he became.

Very somber picture...he was born 2 days before me and is way to young to have given the ultimate sacrafice for his country.  He is a true Hero, as all our soldiers are for protecting this country that all to often takes them for granted.

Thanks for posting.

Very sorry for your loss.  It's terrible to see our soldiers are still dying over there in a war that should have ended with bin Laden's death.  His service and sacrifice is greatly appreciated and should never be forgotten.

As long as we honor the fallen, and remember why they died, then they did not die in vain.

Thank you for sharing.

Now to get this damn sand out of my eyes so they will quit leaking...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
