Shoot the first 300" bull you see, the IDFG has killed that unit for big bulls...  Good luck its a tough hunt!

:yeah:I have cousins that live in lewiston and one of them told me the same thing about the elk in that unit. He had the tag last year and past on 5 points and smaller bulls, he saw the smallest 6 point he's ever seen. He never did take a bull but could have taken numerous small bulls. You should have a good hunt but I would also take the first 300'' bull I saw. That is what I put in for also but I don't want to call to find out, I will wait till the site get back on line to check.

Nice. I am jealous. Hope you kill a good one. After you had the tag last year you probably have it dialed in on right where to go.
