« on: June 03, 2012, 06:07:36 PM »
If I wanted to bow hunt in the Winston area where it borders Margaret and the Toutle GMU's, which campground will it be better to stay at: Ike Kinswa or Seaquest?

I think Seaquest is closer to where the two units meet, so that might be better :dunno:

Yep Seaquest would be the choice of those 2. Another option, much closer and possibly better is at Kid Valley but you will probably want to get your reservations in early.

Can you camp out of the campground?  Lets say just on a spur road?

Or do the woods and risk your stuff stolen, or do the intersection.
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

That's one thing that concerns me is the possibility of theft.  Anyone have any trouble with theft while staying at a state park?

Lots of meth heads down that way lock everything and keep things like generators out of sight.
State parks are pretty safe I would think, but I also think its like 25/26 bucks a night.

But they book up fast!
Remember that buck is climbing that Mt. every day!
