Can you be drawn for both?

This may have been covered and I missed it but it's been a recent conversation and I don't know the answer. Can you draw your way to an any elk tag in a spike only unit?

If you put in the draw for a bull tag and an antlerless tag for elk, in a spike only unit, can you be drawn for both? I realize you can only harvest one animal but they are separate draws so I would assume that theoretically you could... thoughts?

Yes, thats two seperate permits your applying for so you can be drawn for both but can only shoot one animal.

Absolutely and it has happened.  I am putting in for the ghost point on one of them every year from now on.  I do put in for the quality bull though as I figure I probably will never draw them anyway.

Yep.  Would kinda suck in a way uf it did happen you loose points in both categories.

Yes! With the 8 points I have for both Bull and Cow, I am ghosting my cow until I draw the Bull.
