Had it last year and passed up 15 bucks the first say there! Knock on lots of doors! That hunt all depends on the rut! If you miss the rut you wont.see much! If the rut is on deer everywhere. Take a grunt call, bleat, and a set of horns to rattle. Good luck boys!

:yeah:

I knocked on doors in that area a few years ago and actually had more people say yes than no :yike:

He already has a modern tag or he wouldn't have been able to apply for the special hunt.

Bosshogg, you don't need to do anything, just wait for your special permit to arrive in the mail. You need to have that permit with you when you're hunting, in addition to your tag.

I said that because he may not have picked his tags up yet, you do have that option.

You have to select your tag before you apply for permits.

You are missing what I'm saying. You buy your tag, select weapon and have the option to get your tag then or pick  them up later.

I thought once you made your selection of weapon type, they give it to you then, or mail it to you if you're doing it online. Why would you want to get it later?

All my stuff I buy online so it's all mailed.

What you actually got was a "permit" not a tag. (the one you drew)

The other one was your one and only tag.
