Yikes better get it done before all the deer hunters come out.
Nice thing about the deer hunters is more eyes in the woods, most deer/elk hunters are happy to share info with moose hunters.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Deer hunters arent a bad thing, plus, in my experience you will always see a ton more moose in November than in October in 49 and selkirk.  Dont stress to much. I believe the best part of the season still isnt here.  Goodluck!

:whoo:  Why isn't that tag being notched with a bloody broadhead? ;)  Can't wait to see more pics and read a story.  Us unlucky applicant's have to find our moose fix where we can.  This has been the best source so far this year
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

KCCO

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.
Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms, 1929
