That grouse picture is cool! I dont think I have seen many grouse caught on game cameras.

another buck I may hunt..this is a buck I hit last year and thought it may have died..never could find it..there appears to be a healed scar on the shoulder

Yeah .. Almost looks like a bubble under skin to. And he stumbles a lot when he walks. Seeing that spot makes u think that no way he coulda lived being hit there

If you were in a treestand and that was the entrance side, I can see him living(maybe).  If it was the exit side...not so much.

Also looks like his body is swollen, compared to the other deer.  maybe he's got an infection or inflammation from the wound.

That's a nice buck. I would have to put him on the hit list just because of the prior years history with him. Also to see what that wound looks like up close and maybe recover the broadhead if it is still in him.

Sweet!  Shane, have you been in the Republic area since the wind storm last week?  I heard that it tore the crap out of the area from Keller to the Canadian border.  Trees down everywhere.  I would hate to have a cam burried underneath a fallen tree.

Not yet .. My dad was up today and said the south faces had blowdowns everywhere .. The interior area in bottoms were good. My buddy was up and had trees down on cams! I am going up Friday to get mine.. Fingers crossed

My buddy has gotten 8 log trucks worth off of his, mine and his girlfriends place this week.  I gues Keller got hit really hard.  Maybe it cleaned up all those ghetto places on the Rez?  :chuckle:
