Rob...............yes......I am often confused......hey, look a bird!

I appreciate the fact that Cablas too the time to have a warm body log on, creat an account, and work towards a response. I think Dale said it well.

Hopefully, their envolvement will creat a greater understanding of the local "need" compared to the national "need'. Let's face it, the average schmuck like myself walking around looking confused on why the primers are not with th powders is small potatoes. However, the voice of one P'd off person is worth a hundred happy folks. We know this.

I think we should welcome them to the forum. Can I hear a %20 for all members!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Cabelas can explain why they do not let people open carry in their store when Starbucks does lol.

You can open carry. Just when you walk in the door, the pistol must remain holstered the whole time. If you remove it for any reason other than a situation, the store policy is that it must be under control of an employee.

I appreciate the fact that Cabelas actually paid attention to what was being posted and also took the time to respond.  That's about a mile ahead of any other retailer I've ever experienced.  Bravo for them for staying in touch and paying attention.

I hate standing in line at the Cabelas gun counter, but when I bought my XD .40, I told the guy behind the counter I could get it for $40 cheaper at Sportsman's Warehouse. He asked if I had their add, I pulled out my Iphone and showed him the add. He took the $40 of my XD.

Yes they can and do price match.

I recently bought a plastic stocked Stevens 311 16ga sxs with like new barrels at the Lacey Cabela's for only $129!  They have great prices there sometimes.  You just have to know what you're looking for.  Haven't been to Tulalip yet but it doesn't sound worth the trip.   The gun guys at the Lacey store are friendly and helpful every time I've gone there.  Fair prices for the guns I've sold to them too.

:) never bought a gun from Cabelas but I can say the  Boating section at the Lacey store stinks. The prices are high and no one helps you. I saw two guys standing outside of the sales office window, ready to buy a Lowe boat, they were knocking on the window, the sales guy inside DID NOT EVEN LOOK UP FROM HIS COMPUTER.
