Where do you prefer hunting grouse...down low for the ruffed grouse

or

Up High for the blues? 

Explain... show images...KILL THEM ALL, LET THE CHEF SORT THEM OUT!

blue grouse - ruffed grouse- famous grouse... its so hard to choose   :dunno:. kinda seasonal for me, I like getting high in september specifically for blues and then mainly stay low for ruffs the rest of the season.

Im going to head to ND and MT this fall and try for prairie grouse. I really want a big bull sage on my wall, maybe I will try for a grouse slam this year.

Dog doesn't seem to care what color they are,  we have better luck down low though.



This was the first real bird Beamer ever retrieved
