I am a new member living here in West Richland with my wife and seven kids (6 girls and one son).  In have hunted all my life here in eastern WA.  I told a few of you in posts that I would post a few pictures if my kids would help me.  In 2006 myself, oldest daughter, younger brother, and two of my hunting best friends drew 5 Dayton A rifle tags in a group with an average of 5 points with 13 total permits given out that year.  We filled 4 of the 5 tags with some nice bulls.  The first picture is of my 358 typical 6X6.  The second picture if of my daughters 318 typical 6x6.  The third picture is in my garage with my daughter, budy, and brother with there bulls (mine was already at the taxidermist).  The fourth picture is my third oldest daughter posing with my brothers 398 non-typical 7x8.  The fifth picture is of my buddies 335 6x7 (check out the 3rd's on that bull).  In 2007 my budy with only two points and new to hunting elk drew a Dayton A tag and I helped get on this 7x7 typical scoring around 310.  My oldest daughter after shooting her Dayton bull in 2006 drew a Observatory bull tag in 2008 with only two points and shot this nice typical 6x6 in the seventh picture. The last picture is of my wifes first elk last year shooting a cow in the Manastash area in 2011.  I will try to post some more pictures in the future of my buddies 6x6 watershed bull in 2005 and me and my second oldest daughters bulls we shot in 2003 in Observatory.  I also posted some of the bucks we have taken here in eastern washington in the deer section.

The bitter sweet part of it all is that I turned up empty this year on the draw but my wife drew a Dayton A rifle quality bull tag (9 points) so it should be another interesting year.  Along with that my buddy drew another watershed big bull permit like he did back in 2005.  Two of my daughters, my dingy brother, and a buddy drew cow tags in Manastash and my son drew the Silver Dollar ranch youth cow elk permit bordering Hanford.  So we will hunt Dayton big bulls for a week before the general opener and than switch to Watershed mode for the actual oppener and than 5 days later on Wed we will head to fill cow tags above Ellensburg.  Why cant there be more weeks in Oct and Nov.  After elk hunting it will be off to the Sweetgrass Hills in Montana to hunt for deer.  When we get back my son and idiot brother both drew Blue MT foothills modern rifle whitetail rut permits we have to try and fill before heading back to Montana to hunt unit 270 in the Bitterroots for elk Thanksgiving week.  I cant believe I put in for Wyoming this year and am glad now that I didnt get drawn.  Never in my life have I had a schedule to hunt like I have this year and if I am still married and employed by December I will be shocked. Happy hunting!

1.  I'd be willing to put my points in with yours on a group draw given your luck.   ;)

2.  After posting those photos (if you don't already), you will soon have a bunch of young men offering to pack out your meat just to meet your lucky, big-bull-hunting, attractive daughters.

The oldest three are now married.  Two last summer and one the summer before.  My oldest is expecting in Sept and cant hunt but her husband is a hunting fool.  Hard to find young men that hunt anymore.  My two that got married last year married great guys but not hunters.  O well I get them to myself in the fall.  After three weddings in two years I might need a little gas money and ammo if you dont mind!  It didnt help with the tag cost increase either.

I just married my only daughter off last year.  So I understand your budget issues.  Man, you have done well with your elk killing.   I agree with the others that great looking family.  Welcome to the board.

I believe we met the season you guys had the multiple permits in Dayton. We were in the area when your daughter was packing hers out.
