Outdoor line or whatever 710 calls itself on Saturday mornings said that the tribes down their shut it down until further notice.

You can still fish above White river if it dosent open on the rez. Just not the rez. And I dont think its a done deal yet. Meaning I dont think a formal agreement has been made with the State.

and tell you guys the beginning of the pink run slammed into Point No Point last night with a hell of a force, go get em'

Is this hearsay or did you witness it first hand?

They have been trickling in for some time but not in mass numbers.  I caught my 1st pink off the west side of P. bar July 13th.  I’ve never caught one there that early before.

As of today, the salmon fishing regulations on the Puyallup from the 11th St. Bridge to the White River read as follows: "To be determined".

With less than two weeks before the scheduled August first opener, local anglers are wondering why the co-managers, namely the State of Washington and the Puyallup Tribe have failed to have a fishing agreement in place. Usually the sport and commercial fishing regulations are finalized in the regional salmon season process known as "North of Falcon" which concludes in mid April.

This year however, the State of Washington and the Puyallup & Skokomish Tribes have no fishing agreement in place over concerns of sport and commercial fishing interactions.

With a bumper crop of chinook, coho and pink salmon headed toward Puget Sound rivers anglers anticipation is at a fever pitch and time for an agreement is getting short.

TUNE IN  Saturday morning for an interview with WDFW director Phil Anderson as he addresses these important issues on "the outdoor line" radio station!!! i cant wait to hear his butt in the hot seat

Pretty rediculus that the tribes are making our rules now and the state isnt anymore. Man the things this could lead to

Did you know they got first rights to crabs in some area also? Natives in hoodsport got to drop a couple thousand pots before our season opened up according to lots of the locals.
