Ok so we have been posting our keep from the season. How about the tools of the trade. Guns, vests, dogs, etc!

Definitely not the prettiest gun out there but I shoot well with this gun. It fits me like a glove and is well balanced. It was my wife's grandfathers shotgun so I take some pride hunting with it.

The best tool a upland hunter can find, a GOOD bird dog.  You can kill birds with any shotgun if you can find them.

My two kids have  been my favorite hunting neccesity this year. We flushed some grouse and I missed of coarse. My son said "Daddy I think you need to practice more" after reflecting on the day while eating diner. Been a fun year for me. Not a lot for the freezer but plenty of memories.

I mainly take my Marlin 90 16ga for long walks while looking for birds, shells, rocks, sheds and what ever else I can find to prove to my wife that I actually went hunting because even if I get a shot I rarely hit anything.

I hope to add a hunting dog to my hunting arsenal next season. We will see.

Naches I love the 31s, ball bearing shell shukers, there is not a smoother pump in existence.  I own a 16ga. Been looking for a 31L in 16ga for a while as my chukar gun.

Good whiskey sounds good anytime and after chukar hunting there is no better excuse.
