First Trail Cam
« on: August 10, 2014, 01:24:18 PM »
Got my first trail cam this week. So many options to choose from, but I found an outdated model Moultrie M-880 for a good deal so I pulled the trigger. I set it up on some public land in a spot I haven't hunted before about a 1/2 mile from a road. I was only in the mountains for 24 hours but I couldn't help but check the trail cam after 18 hours or so. I was pleased to find an elk came through. Hopefully I get many more over the next couple of months.

Its all downhill from here. Now when you're sitting at a red light, waiting for the microwave, or making out with a girl, you can think: "I wonder what my trail cam is capturing right now...."
