Archery Elk Hunting Season help
« on: September 01, 2014, 11:40:46 AM »
Tomorrow is the start of Archery Elk season.  Does anyone know where I can get some arrows, broad heads?  It does not matter what length or size I just need some as season starts tomorrow.

Last and most important...  I am not sure where to go.  Does anyone have some areas which they can point me to a location which have lots of elk?

I have a mismatch of arrows and broadheads in the garage.  The arrows are good, but a few have had to be re-straightened.  When can you pick up?

I was in the same boat the other day and decided against spending even more money on equipment and went and cut a few branches out of the tree in my yard...there fairly straight and I left a few leaves on the end for fletching and sharpened the end and oh boy is it sharp....hopefully they fly straight I don't have time to try them out....I don't have a partner either I'll ride with you since I don't have gas money and we can sit at the gas station and wait for guys in camo to get gas and follow them

You should try the little naches I shot one standing in the road in there today, funny no one was hunting at all, must of all been hung over or something. Good luck.
