I am looking for a good deer hunting bullet for Remington 270. What are your opinions for 270 bullet and weight. Hornady, Nosler, Sierra, Berger, etc..

I had good luck with 140 grain Bergers this year in my 270. I also like 140 grain Nosler Accubonds. But for deer it really isn't critical what bullet you use. Anything from 130 to 150 grains will work. For me, I'm liking the Bergers for longer distances, and for closer up I will probably use the Accubonds. (Which means Bergers in Wyoming and Accubonds in western Wa.)

VLD's, yes. Very accurate in my rifle.
The only reason I even tried them is that there was nothing else available at the time.
But I think I will continue using them. Performance was great on my bighorn sheep.

150 Gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip. Deadly on whitetail. Disclaimer they will cause blood shot loss.

I have killed deer with 130 and 150 federal soft points, 130 hornady sst, 130 and 140 accubond, 150 fusions, 150 partitions, etc.. They all killed the same with no deer traveling more than 20 yards and most dropping in there tracks. My gun shoots just about everything under MOA so I like to switch it up all the time. I think the 270 is the absolute perfect deer caliber, no matter what round you put through it. As I find myself becoming more of an elk and bear hunter than a deer hunter, I've stuck to the 150 partition for a heavier and more solid bullet. I did drop my buck this year at 320 yards through both shoulders with the partition.

Anything that says NOSLER on the box. For deer any 130 is fine. For elk I load up 150 or 160 PT,s. I recently developed a super accurate load with the 150 LRAB. Have not hunted with it yet but it is accurate. If a guy just wants one bullet for everything load up 140 AB,s or 140 PT,s. I,m working on 130 E-TIPS just in case I need them one of these days. Hope not.

I've decided that the 150 gr partition will work for anything I want to hunt here.

Anything your 270 shoots well. Deer don't need premium bullets.
That said, I load Barnes 110gr TTSX in my wifes .270. I stepped it down from the 130gr. TSX Shoots great, flat, and has less recoil.
The 130 collected 3 deer and one 6x6 elk for her. All one shot, zero tracking kills.
