New member intro
« on: October 18, 2016, 07:57:07 AM »
Hello all. Came across this site while doing an online search for info and found it to be packed with good stuff so I joined. I have been hunting big game for 16 years, with good friends that really know what they are doing. I have never ventured out solo, but am now beginning to try and find areas that I will be able to take my sons into.  The areas that I have hunted are very remote and take a couple days of hard boot stomping to get to. I really want to be able to get my boys on a deer/elk, but the areas that seem more readily accessible for them look like pumpkin fields so I have begun to do the homework, google earth searches, scouting hikes et cetera to try and narrow it down.

Anyway, this is a great site. Have a great season out there, and be safe.

First off, welcome. Secondly, if you're looking to get your sons hooked you might start looking at some out of state opportunities to take them on.

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
