If you want to get nerdy, every 500 feet above sea level water boils one degree less. At 2000' it will boil at 208. I realize I've left myself open to another nerd with a more precise calculation.
If you put your thermometer in ice water it should read 32 degrees. I don't think that changes with altitude, I could be wrong though.
I placed all the transducers in a pot of boiling water. When I put themBack in the smoker they were within 2-3!degrees. Wow. A reset. Who knew?!!!!
