Our 2 dogs right now are Boone and Gunner. Boone is the best dog Iíve ever had so Iíll be retiring that name permanently when heís gone. Not really a gun name but Iím partial to it. Like Curly said Cooper is a great gun name, only problem is itís also a popular girls name these days  :chuckle:

The wife has sent out the ballot to all the kids & friends. Sako,Bo or Jake. So far itís about a 3 way tie. :bash:

Cast your votes folks.

For training reasons I wouldnít name a dog Bo, sounds too close to NO. And sako or sAko doesnít roll of the tongue well. I send my retrievers on their name.  Jake gets my vote.

My lab is named Bo and I haven't had any problems mixing no and bo. I like the name Sig and Ike. Do yourself a favor and keep it one syllable.

What about combining Bo and Jake. You'd get Joe. You could call him Joe or Joey which both sound good to me.
