Pretty sure office-wise, WDFW is shut down right now. DOL is pretty shut down right now also. Not sure how or if that would play together.

How can you tell wdfw or the dol is shut down?????

I did points for elk and I will just buy the deer if I don't get it but I'm more looking forward to the draw just because it's something hunting related to think about. Hope it's soon.

Honestly I don't know how to tell specifically. I just know we're not able to sell cars right now because we don't have a way to license them. Since I made that post we've been told there are very specific reasons or qualifications people can have where we can sell them a car, but it's very limited. Like first responders who need a vehicle to get to their jobs, a person's car gets totaled or needs more work than it's worth or something along those lines we can sell a car.  I'm a service guy and am pretty much allergic to the sales side so I don't know all of the specifics. We went from having zero sales people here to having one guy here all day. It's crazy how many people are apparently calling wanting to buy cars right now by the way.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Wife's friend just bought a truck and then got laid off the next day, I'm not surprised they're still calling. I'd bet most of the DOL employees and wdfw employees are working still they're just not "working".

I know of at least one WDFW employee that was working remotely from home last week.  I think there are a couple of others that I have dealt with as well on the hunter ed side that are working from home or at least working as they are giving us updates as instructors.  Knowing that I would say with confidence that WDFW is still working, remotely but they are working.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I've had instant email replies from two people I know inside WDFW, and phone calls from two others so at least four of them are working.
