House cat or bobcat?
« on: September 08, 2020, 10:46:47 AM »
We caught this feline on a trail cam we have set up for elk in a semi-suburban area (housecats in the vicinity). My buddies and I are split on whether this is a house cat or bobcat. What do you guys think?

Here we go again.....
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Hunterednate has likely not been around long enough to know the complexity of the simple post he made  :chuckle: :chuckle:!
That said it certainly looks like a bobcat!

Nate, by chance if you do know than even better!!

In Montana that would be a house cat but most places it's a bobcat.
