Browning Hells Canyon Speed
« on: February 11, 2021, 08:53:52 PM »
Finally saved my pennies up and can’t find one in 7mm-08 anywhere. Everywhere is out of stock including online. 6.5 creedmore is everywhere of course. If anyone sees one in stock let me know. I did find one in 6.5 prc and considered it but I hand load and already have everything for the 7.

**Found one in stock at a gun shop in Pennsylvania and it currently on its way here. Thanks to anyone who was looking. Can’t wait for warmer weather to get it out to the range!

you maybe waiting for the a shipment of guns coming to Browning.   I know I'm after a 10 gauge semi that is scheduled in on the end of February.  It's behind schedule but will get here eventually.

7mm -08 has never been very popular and imo is fading more so supply limited.

I think that's why I want 1 for him,   have done a ton of research and everything led me back to a 7mm-08.

Not looking to thread jack, but if your son wants to try one before you purchase, he can shoot one of mine.

Love me some 7/08 I have shot a bunch of stuff with them in rifles and handguns and my wife has as well. It is a great cartridge and a solid choice.

I also really dig the 260 but don't tell the man bun crowd :chuckle:

That is crazy...only 5 total on gunbroker, none are 7mm-08.  Good luck on your search, I’ll keep my eyes peeled.

I wouldn't judge it by what you see in Washington.

It is a lot more popular in the some of the whitetail states.

It isn't going anywhere.
