There are no 224 spring tags to my knowledge.

Your right sorry man I don’t hunt spring bear so I never looked. After I posted it up I looked and notice no tag for the area was hoping I could help someone out haha

They really should offer it as an option. No shortage of bears around that country!

It really should be offered state wide. Even if they keep it a draw allow hunters to hunt any unit, set quotas for each one still, close those areas when met just like cougar.

This is a question I have been asking myself for a couple of years now. A lot of bears there and in the surrounding GMUs. I would like to hear an honest answer as to why they do not have a spring bear tag. Especially with all the talk about declining Mule Deer herds.
