Did anyone catch you must by your multi season tag if drawn before special permits this year?

I honestly gave up on this scam years ago after drawing the elk tag twice and the deer tag 4 years straight.  You know you can buy the same tag in others states every other year as a non resident in states with higher deer and elk populations?

wow that's disappointing odds. I was hoping to draw this year with zero points.   lol

You absolutely could.

You get a point when you buy the application, so everyone starts with 1 point.  Back to zero when you draw.
No everyone starts with zero “bonus” points. 1 application. Then you get 1 point, next year 4 applications.

You get the point before the draw. So if you're starting with no points, you'll be in the draw with 1 point. Next year you'll be in with 2 points. Nobody in the draw has zero.

Yes you start with one point. But you don’t have a “bonus point” until the next year.

Pretty sure that’s how it’s always been isn’t it? Makes sense why would they let you put in for multiple special draws if you don’t have the tag all ready.

Where was that posted? I did not see anything suggesting that. Unless you wish to apply in different weapon categories for the special permits but that has always been the case.
:yeah: @Bone collector 13 was that in an email or on their website?

I found this on the website but it says you can apply for all weapons if you purchase before special draw.

But it doesnt say you have to buy before then. You can still buy until aug 1.

I don't understand. A point is a point. We don't have different kinds of points.

My biggest reason to buy the multi season elk tag, if drawn, is to put in for different weapons on on the same category.  Quality elk muzzy wenaha 1st choice, archery little Natches 2. For example. Or an Eastside tag first choice, then throw a westside rifle rut tag second choice.  You obviously can’t do that without the multi tag.  Not sure why people hate the tag, I’d pay even more for it if ever drawn.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
