When are you able to purchase the permit when drawn?
purchased mine last week.

Where did you find it in your wdfw account?
It was under my licenses to purchase, I also didn't pick up my deer elk tags so I was able to purchase my multi on line.

My account doesn’t even have that option. It won’t give me or my budy the option to select our weapons of choice for deer or elk or buy the multi tags we drew.

It should be an option. At the top there is a drop down menu, that says "Category." Click on that, go under "Hunting" and select "Tags." Then you should see all the tags available for purchase.

How confident are you guys and gals that there will be left over multi season permits later this year? I didn't draw and plan to hunt archery at my cabin but would really like to apply for the rifle tags up there. I am thinking of choosing modern, applying for those permits and then hoping if I don't draw, I can snag a left over MS tag....

There is usually 50-100 left over, it’s too bad they can’t post what number you are on the losers list.

There will be leftovers it's a matter of if your number comes up in time to make buying it worthwhile. The leftovers are supposed to be sold the same as last year so you may not get an option to buy until late Sept or Oct even. I'm in the same boat but already selected a rifle tag. Here's hoping to be a first runner up!  :brew:

If I strike out on the modern permits which is very likely, I would love to be able to hunt early and then late if needed but as long as I could buy the multi before late archery I would be content

If I remember correctly didn’t there “system “ break right before the normal over the counter first come first serve drawing last year and that’s why they went to this stupid 2nd3rd 4th5th etc… draw style? Why this year ? System never got fixed .. I believe they still had deer tags that never got sold

The harvest reports show 8488 MS deer tags sold last year. So only 12 leftovers after the debacle. Not as bad as I was thinking it was.

This will be the 3rd year.  Covid started it.

Last year, I had 2 notices that my # came up for leftover elk multiseason. I already had my other hunts scheduled by the time I got that first notice, so I didn't pick it up.  I'm surprised I was notified the first time...the second time, I thought it was strange.
