Quick update here from the side of the mountain! I’ve been in bow range of 3 big (for anywhere else) bulls. Just haven’t found the one yet. Opening morning maybe I should have sent it on a bull I had at 30 yards but it had to be a quick decision and I wasn’t comfortable ending my hunt so soon on a bull I didn’t get a great chance to size up. Tons of guys out in the woods spike hunting miles and miles from the road stirring everything up I’m hoping the pressure goes down as the season progresses. Killed two rattlesnakes hiking in the dark. I found the big 7x7 I had scouted out night before the opener but he already broke his g6 on one side :bash:

Good luck getting the one you want. What were those rattlers doing hiking in the dark?  :chuckle:

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.
