Was on the fence about picking up a 1x scope for the muzzy but happened to get an east side quality muzzy elk tag.  I ordered the Leupold RDS muzzle loader scope with the CDS dial today and a rail with rings to drop it as low as possible to the bore.  Anybody run some rounds underneath one yet?  Not many reviews out there.

Thank you for posting this. Is the design of this scope such that you can adjust the "focus" of the recital (red dot) by turning the front end of the scope? I've been waiting for a traditional 1x scope because I need a way to compensate for my bad vision up close ("adjusting the focus of the scope"). Currently I wear 2 different power contact lenses when I hunt so that I can better see the sights on my muzzy and would really like a better option.  Thanks.

No unfortunately that is not the design, however the red dot may work for you.  I’m not to sure on that, but my dad cannot focus on the peep/front sight/animal with his vision but can use this.  I’d recommend going to your nearest optics dealer and looking through a couple.  The Leupold/sig Romeo’s/ or trijicon.  Imagine one of them will work for you.  The Leupold just has the elevation turret and a small 1 moa dot for more precise aiming is why it is popular right now.

Thanks CCH. I will probably wait for getting a regular optical scope. Good luck with your season.

The Seekins low rings sit the RDS perfect for me.
