I could understand if hunting in the month of May but way of an over reach especially if clean record. Should have just been ticketed and birds confiscated. Loses year of hunting when people run stop signs, accidentally kill people, and just get a ticket as long as they aren’t intoxicated! Whether a person hunts or not it’s our sport, just common knowledge. then you ask me how I would handle it?
Sounds like a simple mistake that cost some time and money. No foul play on court's side as it didn't seem they were intetested in hammering this fella. By the book as it should be. LEO has to be careful giving grace. Although it stings, betcha this young fella is thankful that his game department is doing what he pays for.
We can’t miss the point he made at the end of the video. One side of the road you can face gun confrontation, lose hunting privileges, court dates, lawyer fees, tickets, and possibly more. But on the other side you are good but changes every year. I feel bad for landowners that could face the same harsh punishment while their neighbors are legal but last year all landowners in the area were open to hunt possibly. Don’t need to understand anything to say that’s messed up.
He broke the law and took his lumps. I'm not seeing any issue here Quote from: hdshot on August 25, 2024, 10:32:41 AMWe can’t miss the point he made at the end of the video. It's all in black and white in states rules and regs. They aren't hard to decipher. If you can read, you can figure out what's open and what's closed. Not trying to be rude hdshot but literally all you do on this forum is post anything doom and glume you can find on waterfowl hunting and complain about your ex partner. If you think it's really that bad then find another hobby. You can choose to be a glass half full kind of guy or a glass half empty. Life is too short to be a glass half empty type of person.
