Had mine scored in 2013. Top of score sheet says : Score Sheet for Montana Big Game Records / Record Book for Montana.
Year or two later still not in Mont. records so I just mailed them a copy and the put in in.
Raining. Heading down there now.

You're a good man Russ! I take back all the bad things I said about you yesterday  :chuckle:
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

You're doing great Russ I am enjoying seeing the pics.

Any word on when a new WA book is coming out?

My kids thumbed through the “current” book they had for sale and on display. They said it was current through 2017. I have a few bucks that make book, but have only had one scored at the sportsman show…several years ago, and is in their early book additions. What’s interesting is my kids pointed out that its not in the current addition, and it’s not like it got dropped out the bottom…it’s 180+ in their original books. :chuckle:
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Those books are awesome and I have both additions, but they are definitely just a very, very small representation of what has been taken in Washington. They  havnt updated it in 8 years and many don’t know how to enter or want to spend the money to travel/etc to get it done. Or like some said they did all that and it still never showed up in the book. Or it did in the first and then disappeared with the second edition. Would be nice if all game wardens and/or taxidermists were certified to score/document/ and enter animals into the Washington record books we would get a better idea of what is actually out there.

If anyone goes can someone ask when a new edition of the WA recordbook will be coming out?  I see there is a 7th edition of the Oregon book that is coming out soon.

New Washington book comes out in November 2025

$40 to get one scored.

I had 2 scored today and took them home with me 2 hours later.

The SE bull is really purty!!!!

That bull got a lot of attention. Is officially 2nd in state and will tie for 17th in nation pending new records worldwide. Accomplishments are finally sinking in. Congratulations to all other winners.
It was hard to hear what other winners got and what for at the competition and nothing has been updated on the website in years, even though it says they are updated after each show. I'd like to see the updated list.
My Mulie also got first in its division (3 point) to be 3rd in state. It is cool that they have that division being they could never compete against a typical 4 point.
