The Put Hut Duck Blind
« on: June 20, 2012, 09:22:21 AM »
I decided to order up one of these.  I think they would be killer for some of the spots I like to hunt.  Has anyone tried one?
I also spoke to Howard and will be testing the Cupped up outdoors put hut.  I will sell off the one I like the least.  He will be out next week with samples.

Clever,   I really think they should have made the hights adjustable in case your in deeper water.  Bet it works though.

Looks like it should work pretty well.  Do you mind me asking what the price of one is?
Thanks,
Chris

Interesting way to get out in the water as opposed to shooting from shore.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I think I'd give the Musk Rat Hut a shot first.  An upgraded float tube like that could be the ticket in a couple places.... Seat built in... I like it

The Put Hut dosen't appeal to me nearly as much.   :dunno:

I definitely dig that float tube one "The Muskrat Hut" could be really sweet. If you got good with it you could sure sneak up on birds or float wherever you wanted to..

Back in the 80's I lived on the OR coast.  There are lots of ponds out in the dunes but I did not have a dog or a boat at the time, so I made one.  I took an innertube, strapped a couple of belts across for a seat, put my wetsuit bottoms and flippers on and went duck hunting.

The ducks didn't know what to make of me and I did pretty well.     That musrat hut looks like a nice setup.
