Let's set up that crabbage deal.  I think I know which deckhand I'll have on board for that...

Great crabbing this weekend.  Which is good, because I've paid my idiot tax in advance by losing two pots already this year.

We here at Fishstiq's Underwater Stuff Finder Service specialize in finding stuff underwater.  We have successfully recovered crab/shrimp pots, fishing gear, anchors, stringers, ladders, road cones, plastic chains, ropes, sunglasses, a full unopened beer, the chalice of the Commodore of the Lake Washington Yacht Club, flashlights, and various other implements of destruction.

Lemme know if you want to get those pots back, my rates are pretty reasonable  :brew: !

Opening day in area 7,  the twin bridges launch was crazy,  No parking.  Had to wait in line to get out.

And we had to wait to get back out of the water.

Ended up with a pile of crab.

My favorite is the guy who starts his motor and leaves it running for several minutes before he puts his boat in the water. Makes some great snap, crackle, and popping sounds. :yike: I've seen it happen twice.

I Saw this yesterday.

This guy was standing on the dock holding the rope to his boat with the motor out of the water running.  What are you supposed to say? Hey your motor is running?  Well he has to know that he is standing right next to it.   :bash:

So I took a picture.
Yeah the 115 is running  :yike:

Later I looked back at my pictures and he was at the dock with the motor up atleast 15-20 minutes before I got there  :dunno:

Someday D.....someday.

Just this weekend I had another great launch experience. I was heading in Saturday evening. Everett boat launch..........not many people using the launch or removal lanes. I'm coming in with two other boats......I stop mid channel to get my bumbers and ropes ready since I'm solo....other boat goes ahead..........I fall in line 2nd. I pull in and head to dock with nobody on it............first guy takes same lane opposite of me on the other dock..........3rd guy pulls in behind me. Now.........by myself I can put in and take out faster than most that have an extra hand. Apparently the guy behind me wasn't taking any chances on that. I back my rig down.......walk back to bring my boat up and guide it on the trailer. Whacko behind me drops his trailer in the MIDDLE of the ramp, crowding me and totally blocking the guy that was opposite of me! What the hell? I get mine on the trailer and just look up shaking my head. Don't know why he couldn't wait 5 minutes or why he felt the need to block the other guys boat. Not sure if they were just drunk or stupid. Needless to say I got mine trailered and out of the water before he blocked me in or worse!

I have attached a quick graphical representation as well.

Well let me ask this question any of you guys ever heard of putting an empty beer can in your pots?  Or aluminum cans but beer is better.

Boat launch is an excellent spot for people watching. Nope...never put beer in my pot. I was going to leave Skillet a few cold ones but didn't find his pot to pillage before I had my limit on board. Maybe next time.

Fixed it for you H2o

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
