the razor back stance to the hair sez moose. the lack of dark hair on the top of the head. the way the antlers are already palmating sez moose. you can see the coarse texture of the hide? and the bug out eyes sez moose.

I think elk...as stated before moose antlers grow straight out and these appear to be growing upward
