Just picked up my new Rainshadow from Greg's Custom Rods in Lake Stevens.  Turned out real nice.  Hope to try it out on the Sky this weekend.

This blank is a little over a hundred bucks.  Depending on which components you choose plus labor it's the about the same as a high end Loomis or Lami.  I also have a 9' Rainshadow XST1084F blank waiting to be wrapped up.

Yep,you don't have a custom rod built if you're looking to save money. The rod Greg is currently wrapping for me is a Rainshadow 1264 with some nice components. Final price was $350

I wrap my own actually ;)  I was just curious what a rod like that goes for.

I generally wrap my own also, but this time I'm going out of town and don't have time to wrap it before the piggys show up at Westport.

I've probably wrapped close to 20 rods.
