WalMart trail cams on sale

Just found the 3pm Tasco flash trail cams on sale at WalMart for $40.  Guys in the Sunnyside-Tri Cities area don't bother looking as they were all sold out as of this morning.    

Not sure they are worth it or not, but for the price I couldn't pass them up.

I run 3 of them and I like them. Slow trigger speed but I won't cry if one gets eaten or stolen.

I couldn't get mine to work at night and after a year, it died completely.  Top quality daytime pics though

I wouldn't say the trigger speed is slow. It's as fast or faster than many other cameras that cost a lot more. The chasingame review has it at 1.5 seconds. The lack of range with the flash is about the only drawback I've found with the Tasco's.

I have 3 of them out right now. I am tempted to go down to the end of my driveway and walk into the timber a mile where I have them set up but they have only been there a week and im trying to wait 2 weeks!  Its tough to wait lol looking forward to seeing what the pictures look like

For you guys that are getting night pics, do you have them on high or low setting?  I haven't gotten one night pic but a ton of day pics.  I've got it on high resolution, don't know if it would work better at night on low.
