Two person tree stand?

Wondering if you all had much to share regarding two person stands so I can have a kid next to me in the tree.
 
fairly easy take down and setup would be nice,  and perhaps a blind cause they can't keep still

I had one from Sportsmansguide. Good upto 300 lbs with a 15 foot ladder. Sold it last year.

The ladder stands will work on lots of trees, the main problem will be getting it there. They're heavy so hopefully you have a spot that's not far from a road. You need at least two people to set them up. Unless you're a lot stronger than me.

they work great in most trees.Top heavey so raising is a bummer alone..my buddy took a nice bear with his son sitting in one over looking over a thick berry patch

The one I had was very sturdy. I bet it was made by the same people that make the big $$ ones, in China.

I think that was the same one I had. But I think it might of been 15 feet.

I would order 2 hang on stands and just hang them on the same tree. Ladder stands suck! Heavy and awkward and need a good tree... and they aren't too tall. 2 hang ons 25-30 feet up a Brushy tree will be much better.

I have several of the ones from Walmart (usually in stock around this time of year, I haven't looked this year though).  Like $99, 15 foot ladder stands.  Been hunting in them with my oldest since he was 3, wife took her first buck sitting next to me in one a couple years ago.  Always worked just fine for us.

As noted, they can be kind of top heavy.  If you set them up with the ladder base against the tree and the seat face down out away from the tree you can lift just the seat and sort of "walk" it up into place.  Lift, take a couple steps, grab the next rung down on the ladder.  Repeat until the stand is in place, then just pull the ladder base away from the tree a few feet so that the seat sets properly against the trunk.  Adjust and secure as needed.

Been hanging them myself with that method for years now and I've only had help a couple times.

Large branches seem to be difficult to avoid, so bring a saw.

To keep the kids movement out of view of the game, take a piece of camo burlap (15 ft or so) and make wire hanger loops  to drape it from the safety rail like a shower curtain. This will cover movement below the chest and make it easy to get into and out of! You can also spray it down with cover sent.
