The score is debatable, but the mounting job isn't :o. WTH?

Yeah I wondered about that myself. So they just took it and screwed it to a board? Too bad. Should have at least done a Euro mount with it.

Gonna go out on a limb here and say that's not the final mount...

I'm guessing it's just a way to secure it while they preserve the velvet and all the rack to dry.

So, what does a 220 buck look like?    THis shed is the State Record and is currently 3rd in the world.   It measures 96+   x2  =192 inches.   30 inch spread credit.....   222 (no deductions)  I'll hold it to a 170 buck, and my 178 buck which is 33+ wide.

So Bone, Wouldnt that mean that the buck would have 30 inch main beams. Because you only get a spread credit that is equal to the main beam length right?

Ok my mistake in the first place was ever letting you guys see this buck because i posted it!  Yes the thread states new state record, which is something I nor the hunter has ever claimed this buck to be.  I knew this was the buck every one wanted to see the pic of so i posted it.  The buck does score over 200 i garuntee you he does, however I nor advantage taxidermy ever said the buck was 220 or a new record of any kind.  Boneaddict I have a lot of respect for you, in the past i have always agreed with most of the things you post, but this time your flat out wrong and everyone else that saying the buck scores 170 lol.  Ill be honest i was surprised how well he scored when i added it up too.  I cant wait for the offical card to come out so all of you can eat your words and JLS i guess is gonna eat a hat???  :twocents:

Which post did anyone say it scored 170?

I think most people confuse 170 main frame and total score.

ANTLER KING you sound pretty serious and your one of the few that have seen this trophy. By the post, one of a few that have measured it. I can see it coming now. It will be the person who took the pictures fault if it truly does go over 200. I have been fallowing this thread and some of the other pictures were taken by people who try to make the buck look bigger than it is. It appears to me that the one in front of the white house, arms straight out holding as far away from his small body looks huge. The pictures of the buck in question appears to be no tricks going on and they said 6'4ish and broad shoulders. I can see a fall guy coming and the only one it can be is the person who took the pictures. LMAO

That is why I put new state record with a question mark after it.  I never claimed it was the new state record, but I was trying to find out if anyone on here had heard anything about it.  I hope it is, but if not, a great deer anyways.  Guys sure get all crazy when you even ask a question about 200 inch deer.  I will come by and take a look at it one of these days though.
