Fish and Wildlife Commission changes meeting location
« on: October 03, 2012, 10:10:22 AM »
OLYMPIA - The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission has changed the location of a public meeting scheduled Friday and Saturday (Oct. 5-6) in Olympia to provide more seating.

The citizen commission, which sets policy for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), is now scheduled to meet in the Columbia Room of the state Legislative Building at 614 Sid Snyder Ave. S.W. in Olympia.

WDFW is scheduled to brief the commission on a number of issues, including wolf management, proposals to restructure salmon and sturgeon fisheries on the Columbia river, and potential changes to Puget Sound shrimp fisheries.

An agenda for the meeting is posted at http://wdfw.wa.gov/commission/meetings/2012/ . TVW will televise the meeting via webcast at http://www.tvw.org/

To be completely honest I'm absolutely shocked that they didn't schedule it for the 12th and 13th. I am going to try to make it Friday.

Good, I'll try to drive my Powerstroke over the top of a couple of those Prius POS's while I'm parking. :chuckle:

I'm sure the parking lot will be full of those and Subaru's, there won't be any shortage of "butch women" inside either.

I know lesbians who hunt. Let's leave them out of this discussion, please.

I see the ability to stereotype and ridicule those who see things differently is still alive and well.

Thanks for changing your wording, Hunt. We have support from all kinds of different people. I believe alienating any of them from our cause is foolhardy. What's the saying, If we all don't stand together, we'll surely fall apart? Makes sense to me.
