Steel shot in the garbage disposal
« on: October 17, 2012, 10:52:27 PM »
Well, I missed a pellet and it's sounding ugly in the garbage disposal.  Has this happened to you, and was there an easy fix, or do I get to spend tomorrow evening under the sink?

I've used the shopvac a few times with success.  Cleans out fish bones from the dish washer vent/trap quite well too.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Flash light and mechanics telescoping magnet pen.  Works great!
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

If you are a Bob and Tom listener - ask Mr. Obvious.  If not look it up on youtube.

5 mins and done.  Had to turn it on momentarily a few times to kick it up.  Took a lot longer the last time, but that was before I got the sink redone.
