I cant wait, I hope I can sleep tonight.  Opening morning eve reminds me of how Christmas eve was when I was a kid.

Mulies are going harder than the Whitetails in the blues but over the past 3 days I have watched things start to heat up! Good luck to everyone.

I'm hitting the late Nov. 25th archery in 105.  Any reports of rut over there?
Y'all think ill hit the post rut or hit the tail end of the peak?

Just got back from 101 kettle falls area. What a let down, the deer didn't seem to be where i usually see them. Of course theres tons in private fields. Sat in the tree stand for about 5 hours and that was all the cold I could take, so I hiked around until dark. Last year I hunted Thanksgiving and it seemed a little better not to mention there was a ton of snow then too. Went to Curlew and up Lambert creek rd. never hunted up that way but some neat country for sure. Saw lots of whitetail does in peoples yards and fields for the first few miles then the rd entered Forest service. The higher I got I started seeing Muleys. Man I guess I need to start asking permission to hunt where the  Whitetail deer are actually at :). Can anyone give some tips on these areas Thanks guys.

Hunted this weekend North of Deer Park, south of Chewelah.  We saw a few does, and a couple of small dink non legal bucks, and didn't see any indication that the rut is kicking in.  It was 13 this morning...I need some new gloves!!  Hope others were successful this weekend, and that things pick up between now and the end of season.

just saw first sign of bucks in NE being  rutty today.  had an 8pt follow a doe and a couple fawns into my spot and he was hounding them a bit and snuffling the does pee.  he hung out bout 100 yards in front of me for  an hour or so but i figured he could use another year.
