Just got back from 130 and the rut is not happening yet.
Well looks like I have to update my post. I just got word from my brother that a friend went into the area my daughter and I had been hunting and rattled a very nice 6x6 in and shot it. It is a dandy buck. I don't have permission to post pic so please don't ask. Late palouse tag.

We saw two bucks chasing does today! The buck my daughter shot tonight that we rattled in was pretty rutty.

In past years how long do you guys see these NE whiteys rut hard? 1 week and 1/2 or 2 weeks?
Curious how much rut I'll have come the 25th.

the 25th can be hit and miss..just varies area to area...first few days can be okay but other than that hope for extreme weather to get the big bucks up and moving

I just returned from unit 113.  I shot a small 4x4 but my buddy got a 200lb 4x4 with a big neck.  We found a few scrapes and fresh rubs.  I was up for four days and deer activity seemed to increase in the last two days.
