This morning, things were a little slow on the farm, deer wise. Around eleven, does starting popping up, later on followed by a spike buck.  Went out with a newer member here and tried to kick some out of the brush for him. Two does, two scared yote dogs.  Hoping for some cooler weather, and a lil bit of precip. Until then,

The day that you tarry, is the day that you lose

6 does and a forkie today, unfortunately I was in my work truck and couldn't do a damn thing about it. Tomorrow I'll be in Washougal and wouldn't be suprised to see as many or more deer then today, unfortunately, they'll be seen from the cab of my work truck. Hitting it hard this weekend though.

two nice bucks so far nice
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Watched a doe, then another, the third looked back. Glassed for about five more minutes and saw aonother animal. Ten minutes later another body came out of the draw. Antlers on this one so I took the shot. Not a big animal, but late season and blacktail, bam!

Went out with Mountainwalk yesterday, (THANKS) he's a great guy to go hunting with if you keep your cell phone shut off... (oops)

I am convinced that you folks are all imagining that you're seeing and shooting bucks.  It's Mass Delusions or something.  Went to Mason Lake area today for 6 hours, stood at a great vantage point over several acres of good feed and tracks and NOTHING moved all day... The rain killed me. :(

That's it for me this year.  I got my last dear 28 years ago...  Maybe I'll make a better elk hunter...
Those who assume that I assume are going to eventually approach the conclusive event where their conclusion will be that I'm not assuming anything!
