Have they shot the gun since to see if it's even close? 65yards with a rest and a clean miss.   :dunno:

The gun was shot on Friday and the two shots were w/in an inch and a half on either side of the bullseye at 50 yards, so should have been on.   :dunno:

So, we found no deer.    :(   Four of us grid searched the area for quite a while.  The hunter's dad felt like it did not act like it was hit so decided to wait in case it was a bad hit.  Possibly the hunter pulled the shot in her excitement.  She feels bad about having maybe wounded and not recovered it and will probably use this experience as a learning one.

So for those of you that were supportive, thank you, for some others, whatever, and for those that might be pursuaded not to post something that is not perfect or a question they have that might make them look bad, please don't give up on this site as there are a lot of good people here that are willing to offer constructive and helpful advice.

Any other details on this will be left to the young hunter to add.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it was a
Clean miss. I have missed plenty of animals, hence my name. Good lessons learned on every animal.

Don't take it too hard Bug. I bet I've taken way more deer than even cem3434  :chuckle: and I've missed several at that range or less. It happens.
